The Noordwijk Climate Summit

Are you concerned about the future of our climate and do you want to actively contribute to positive change? Then join the Noordwijk Climate Consultation. Here we bring residents together to brainstorm and set up initiatives that help us tackle the challenges of climate change.
By working together, we can not only strengthen our local ecosystem, but also positively impact the world around us, the world of our children. Join us and help us build a more sustainable future.
The Noordwijk Climate Summit consists of two meetings. The first meeting will take place on Saturday 19 October and the second meeting on Saturday 7 December. Program October 19:
During the first meeting of the Noordwijk Climate Summit, there will be several speakers (in Dutch!) who have special experiences with nature and climate, climate change or setting up residents' initiatives and energy corporations. We will then discuss and exchange ideas about effective action and setting up collectives in Noordwijk. There will also be an English-language conversation table.

The En-ROADS simulator
The En-ROADS simulator is a special tool that allows you to 'play' with how different decisions can impact the climate.
Imagine playing a video game where you are in charge of the climate! You can try things like planting more trees, using less polluting cars, or using more solar energy. The simulator shows you what happens when you do these things, so you can better understand how we can stop global warming. It's a fun and educational way to learn more about climate change and how we can do something about it together!
The En-ROADS simulator was developed by Climate Interactive, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
